Didsbury?

A, E and O are in your clue, so I have searched for a location with only I and U (and conveniently the demi-vowel Y) in it and this is the best I can find.

Confident or not its the correct answer

Every (all)vowel bar three (o a)

The more I think about that clue the better it looks.

The next one might not. It is

half concealed entrance

------------------------
Two days and no takers, so I'll provide a somewhat simpler clue:

partly covered access point

Taken from a BIblical quote eg Mary thou art changed

Great Yarmouth

I don't have time to compose another one immediately, so it's open floor.

------------------
No one has posted another clue, so here goes:

hacking about in the rear

------------------------------

Time for a hint or two:

hacking (about)
(in)
[the] rear

Indicators are in parentheses; square brackets shows a word that is not vital to finding the answer.

This town does not have a railway station.

--------------------------------------------
It;s now been ten days since the last clue was answered, so here is another to keep the game going.

Rap order to tramp up to a point?

I had forgotten about this and failed to post any hints. The intended answer was Westward Ho!.

The floor is open for another clue.

Over a week now, so try this one:-

Don't people live amicably with eachother in this part of Denbighshire?

Time to knock this on the head.

I was thinking of the Denbighshire village of Loggerheads.

Open Floor.
