Looks smart to me, can’t wait to see them in the flesh when I can hopefully come down end of next monthI have seen Volvo B7TL 32103 (MIG 4760) today with a rear end vinyl / branding applied for "Lands End Coaster", it makes the bus look so much better in my opinion. Below is an image I took at Camborne today of the aforementioned bus. What do you think?View attachment 95581
I don't get too excited about a livery per se..... As is the case with most Best Impressions jobs, it's more about what it's trying to convey and whilst I didn't mind the old livery, this does seem a step up or evolution of that.I have seen Volvo B7TL 32103 (MIG 4760) today with a rear end vinyl / branding applied for "Lands End Coaster", it makes the bus look so much better in my opinion. Looks brilliant! I love that style of artwork. So much better than the blank rear end that made the buses look like lorries.I have seen Volvo B7TL 32103 (MIG 4760) today with a rear end vinyl / branding applied for "Lands End Coaster", it makes the bus look so much better in my opinion. That will be a little off track at Land's End!Just needs a GWR Castle class steam loco...... !
Or Porthcurno, which is what the picture is of. Far nicer than Land's End!That will be a little off track at Land's End!
There is an open top in Camborne with registration plate covered over and a lime green rear. I couldn't see any more because of buses parked in the way and I was going out. I will take a look again tomorrow.
Does anyone know have the lizard open top buses arrived in Cornwall yet.
Indeed it is - no shabby shopping mall selling overpriced tourist tat! Instead, some nice beaches (as shown) and the telegraph museum/Minack. The style is reminiscent of the 'tween the wars railway style which is I guess what @co-tr-paul was alluding to; I'm with you and like itOr Porthcurno, which is what the picture is of. 32261 left the fleet and was swapped with 33085 last Thursday. I can only assume 32269 will be swapped with 33036 in the very near futureDoes anyone know if the Lizard open top buses arrived in Cornwall yet?

New tweet from Marc Morgan Huws. 53251 is now looking very smart in daytripper livery:
Agree, it certainly suits the Solo but I can’t decide why!I personally prefer the Day tripper scheme on the Solo to the Gemini's, I can't pinpoint exactly why but think the Solo looks great.
Richw, can you assist with the original identities of the various Levantes, please?Levantes 481FPO and Y24TRU arrived to join the coaching fleet today
Y1EDN is YT61GRU not GRX. I think it’s fleet number is 2370*Richw, can you assist with the original identities of the various Levantes, please?
I have 23654 as UHW661, and now 481FPO and Y24TRU. BK15AKG was also mentioned, but presumably that's one of these three re-registrations!
Then there are the two Scania/Berkhof 'deckers, I believe the first is YT61GRX (now registered Y1EDN), and the other is a similarly registered example?
Thanks, appreciatedY1EDN is YT61GRU not GRX. I think it’s fleet number is 2370*
I’m not sure of the levantes as they were already displaying their private plates when they arrived in Truro.
BASE advertised 6 Scania for sale/lease. We’ve got 5 of them so I suspect it’s 5 of these 6The batch of ex Thandi Levantes are BK15 AHV/AHX/AHY/AJY/AKF/AKG. Of these AKG is already at Truronian, and two others were on loan to a Burnley coach company but these may be in use with Holmeswood now (who own BASE Coach Sales).
I’m sure as we know the 3 mentioned as loan are long gone, they were the loan vehicles back in 2016 whilst the e400mmcs were being built . Not sure where this person gets their info. @On the Buses has previously mentioned we won’t be getting any more Gemini as old the two existing short 53 plates.I’ve just had a browse at the latest update of Quack77’s fleet list for FK (6/5/21) and, apparently, they are acquiring the following vehicles:
32489 (AU53 HKG),
V308 LGC (Loan),
V338 LGC (Loan),
LN51 GMF (Which we know about already),
PN02 XCF (Loan),
YT61 GRX (GRU is/was with KingsFerry).
I'm rather dubious about most of those. Reckon those "loans" are nothing of the sort and are long gone. Even 32489.... nopeI’ve just had a browse at the latest update of Quack77’s fleet list for FK (6/5/21) and, apparently, they are acquiring the following vehicles:

Or more likely incorrect like most of the rest of that list!32489 must be for spares only as it was withdrawn from Ipswich following some sort of terminal mechanical failure
No mention of the 4 vehicles being collected tomorrow from West Of England thoughI'm rather dubious about most of those. Reckon those "loans" are nothing of the sort and are long gone. Even 32489.... nope
Those deckers to allow short Darts to move off (to Somerset? Or disposal?)Or more likely incorrect like most of the rest of that list!

That is my understanding. Not sure what deckers though. Those deckers to allow short Darts to move off (to Somerset? Or disposal?)
Are we allowed to know what is being collected from West of England?Or more likely incorrect like most of the rest of that list!
