At least one of the ex Manchester E400s has also been painted. I think 2 more are also away to be done.

66882 of course is heading ‘home’ to Southampton having been swapped with E200s in 2015.
Ahhh, in that case I think it must have been one of those ones I saw. I have actually lost track of what now works in Bath, and what plans to go whrer! ;)

And yes, of course, 66881-6 did originally come from Southampton.

So of the original 55 reg B7RLEs, that just leaves 66935/40/43 still in service right?

I was pleasantly surprised to see that ABUS have recently acquired ex Arriva London Gemini DAF LJ04 LFK. I assume this has replaced one of the Spectras that's gone pop?

*When Wells has enough working vehicles to operate them.
The Pilton VR running week** isn't happening this year, they could be licensed early and ride in like the cavalry to save the day!

** Glastobury Festival in case people miss the reference.

The Wells - Shepton Mallet shorts are back after about 2 weeks, for vaccination shuttles to the Bath & Weston showground.
Twenty years ago, a shuttle did run during the Bath and West Show in May. The X60 ran between Wells bus station and the showground, and usually used the R reg B10BLEs.
That could be the Sunday evening Pyramid Stage headline act...
Very good. :D

I think if there are free resources in future it might be work running the service when events are on (and the 32 in Bath)

There have been racecourse shuttles in the past in Bath, although they've never been numbered nor have I ever found a timetable of them anywhere. I just vaguely recall seeing an ALX400 B7 or two on a Friday night shuttling up there from the bus station.

It's not the only special service that has operated up that way. On certain Uni event days (most commonly on Wednesdays between February & April) , a dedicated service 33 shuttled between Lansdown P&R and the Campus, usually using two deckers on a 30 minute frequency. I'm lead to believe there has also been a shuttle from Odd Down P&R to the Uni in the past, not sure if this carried a number, but 43 would make sense.

From my recollection the Bath racecourse shuttles were some kind of private hire arrangement, paid for by the racecourse owners. Timetables and publicity came under their purview, as these were not commercially registered services.

Think you're right. They've been done on race days but don't think they were registered.

The only services that I can recall being registered on a short term shuttle basis were the Bath Uni - Bath seasonal P&R and, I think, was there one from UWE into Centre.

32001 etc are stored under cover IIRC - ready for next summer

32003 - suspect it's the ticket machine on another vehicle.

As for the others, suspect most are long term VOR with the odd repaint in there.

There definitely was a service from Odd Down P&R on certain days. I remember seeing 66992 or 93 on it when it was an open day.
Not sure if they really needed a two door bus on it though!

All of Weston's open tops currently stored in Lawrence Hill are now back to their W-PAE registrations.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but is there a reason for the anomalies in the fleet numbers of the gas buses? There isn't a 39405, 39428, 39442, 39467, 39473-39480, 39486 or 39490!

I think it’s been stated on here previously that these numbers weren’t used as they had previously been allocated to London Routemasters and First doesn’t reuse numbers due to their computing system?

no I originally put LH as i was putting it short hand as i was on my phone at the time.

The number of Barbie buses left is now done to 5 Bath has 32291 which I'm guessing is hanging on until the final Streetdeck arrives from Leicester and Hengrove have 66723/4/32 & 69253 which are used on the 72/72a.
There are 2 others but these are withdrawn at present 32283 & 66723.
