Received the OPC email today asking me to complete online assessments. Email state that all applicants are required to do the online assessments regardless of having already passed the psychometrics.

So no CV to upload at this stage? Felt like I've done it wrong lol
When I applied back in 2018, I too was surprised by this, but it’s actually a better way of doing things (from an applicant’s point of view) as they only get to see your CV at the interview, so everything re the sift and psychometrics up until then is based on passing fairly straightforward online assessments.

Thank you, I got the OPC email yesterday which took away the anxiety, I really thought I missed a step haha

Any know where their classroom training part would be based?
They’ve got training facilities at Ipswich so my hunch would say there.

But since all the trainees will be for Gateway they may do it closer to there to take away the need for lodging, evening meal etc.

Omg I would love this, and I only live 33 minutes away according to google maps, but I don't drive
I failed my Group Bourdon with Southeastern less than a year ago as well, so I guess I wouldn't be eligible anyway

I don’t believe being able to drive is a requirement.

Also you have two lives when it comes to the testing, so you’ve still got another life left.

If that's the case that would be amazing. I'll send an application off either way.
I would've thought the whole reason of asking you to live within 60 minutes of the depot is so you can make it there within 60 minutes, which I wouldn't be able to do, but I'm not going to argue with them if they don't mind
