305? Mostly used on the southern West Anglia, but later to North Berwick.

That is true but it was the 308 that I was thinking about sorry Ivo...
Also 305s were built at both York and Doncaster whilst 308s were only built at York

A unit classed as either 1xx or 2xx, I was introduced not later than 1990. I am a rare sight in the United Kingdom now. Some similar units still exist in passenger service however, and some are even thought to have made it to Holland. All of the digits in my TOPS number is formed at least partly of straight lines.

13 years in service, and the 142 certanly is an icon with (sounds like soot) ride quality..

Nice easy one to keep the game running well then:
1)we now only run on 2 Network Rail lines.
2)we have a 70mph top speed.
3)we also operate (modified) under another class designation.
