Nowhere near enough to a Pacer :(
I also didn't have all that many vehicles with it working doing a recent few days in Edinburgh, on the one hand, I wasn't complaining but on the other hand, given that the announcements make a big difference to people like myself, it was a bit of a surprise having to suddenly switch back to Google maps for root guidance

I'm struggling to think of why it would suddenly stop working on so many vehicles at the same time.
It's run from the ticket machine, right? Maybe they've been given a software update which has accidentally broken it?

It’s run through the destination blinds… possibly updating things prior to the network alterations.

Oh, is it. So if the blind controller has the vehicle's GPS location then it could be set to automatically remove the "via" points once the vehicle has passed that area or remove for example the "express via A1" from the X7 once the bus has completed that section?

Been an accident on Liberton Road, not sure if 1116 was involved but was stood at the scene 40 minutes when i checked. Handy having the extra buses diverted down Gilmerton Road

I'm on bus 1111 at the moment and they are working as intended. Is this the same across other buses?

Interesting that this link https://www.lothianbuses.com/timetable/?service_name=20 states the destination as Ratho and not the Calders. The URLs for 32/70/71 are valid but timetables have not been added yet.
It dates back to the former service 20 Lothian operated before First/McGill's. Clearly route reinstated to the website timetables system but details not fully updated yet.

Any news on what will be different from the demonstrator apart from the paint scheme?

I believe the cab design is different after a successful request by the union, it was too cramped for some drivers. I'm 6'0" and I had barely any legroom when I drove it, nevermind anybody that's on the 'larger' side (I'm not trying to be rude!).

Did these services really exist at the same time? This is a huge number of bus routes serving one stop.
(Image shows an old view of a bus stop flag from Drumbrae South. It shows a wide variety of services from multiple operators)

I can't find any information on the Stagecoach X14 or most of the First services.

All did certainly exist all at the same time. Around half the First services were peak time only or evening variations and the Waverley 67 was Ratho to the City Centre i believe. Although im not sure about the Stagecoach X14 either

The Stagecoach X14 was Edinburgh to Glasgow competing with Citylink which at the time was owned by National Express in the early 2000's
