Sturgeon will carry on doing this while she thinks the people of Scotland will put up with it. If the people of Scotland make it clear that there are going to be consequences at the ballot box then she will have to think again. So it is up to the people of Scotland to voice their grievances.
I heard as well that the independence rally in Dundee is getting the go ahead.... from my local paper
https://www.eveningtelegraph.co.uk/...go-ahead-after-remembrance-services-scrapped/
Nicola Sturgeon has warned guidance against large gatherings “applies across the board” amid anger over an independence rally set to take place in Dundee next week despite Remembrance services being scrapped.
The campaign group All Under One Banner (AUOB), who were behind some of Scotland’s biggest Yes marches before the coronavirus pandemic, will hold a “rally for independence” in Dundee on October 31.
and here comes the biggest clanger.... (which I wish people would click onto for me I did)....
Dundee City Council confirmed “no application has been submitted for permission for such an event” and said any application would need to be considered by officials before a decision could be made on whether to let it take place.
But The Courier has learned details of the rally
were discussed during a private meeting of political group leaders on the council, and AUOB were still advertising registration for the rally on social media on Monday afternoon.
I believe as far as I now know its been given the green light... so the council were unaware of the application but strangely enough a couple of MP's connected with the group are known to have been in talks? So again double standards in plain sight! I have an idea politician wise who they maybe but knowing the MP's in the area just what is the point? If this has gone ahead on Saturday I would say public go out with your children and go guising - why should people obey things yet others can get away with? I doubt STV News will question these MP's locally regarding this.
So its OK to march and protest (nothing against protesting) but it just smacks the reality of politicians playing the public as sheep or something or they are being clever with how to do these restrictions ie not meet up with friends/family but you can at the following events.
Just to add from local paper...

Scottish parliament tiering framework debate
Nicola Sturgeon has announced changes to hospitality restrictions in the proposed tier system of local lockdowns.
The First Minister told Holyrood that ministers plan to establish an expert group to examine reintroducing low-level music to venues.
She also said closing times for venues at Level 1 and Level 2 would be extended to 10.30pm from 10pm, before adding that pubs and restaurants could remain open under curfew at Level 3 but not serve alcohol.
Ms Sturgeon also said North and South Lanarkshire council areas are being considered for the highest level of restrictions under the proposed tier system.
The First Minister told Holyrood that areas in the central belt covered by tougher measures would likely move into Level 3, while the rest of the country would be at Level 2.
She added it was hoped local authority areas including the Highlands, Shetland, Orkney, the Western Isles and Moray would go into Level 1, while Dundee could also go into Level 3.
