Doesn't always show the correct unit numbers for GWR IETS either, but that's not down to RTT. Someone at GWR inputs the numbers wrong, and most times you can see it's a couple of digits transposed or some such silly mistake.
Is it sometimes in the event of a set swap? For instance my 197 to Gloucester has been swapped out this morning.

RTT have launched a new ticketing website, and it is not an April Fools…

4 months of work by the whole team! Daytripper is a very complex system under the hood. :D

Yes, it will mostly be set swaps if later in the day or typos in the morning. Quite frequently see off by one or four errors.

Any idea when we might see some updated vehicle graphics and liveries? For example 458/4s and 720/6s which currently shows numbers as text only.
And I agree with others that the ticket portal looks brilliant!

Is there an issue with the GBRf data?

I’m used to being able to see what is hauling a service, and this was working yesterday morning, but it hasn’t worked since.

I've done enough market research on this to know that infrequent normals do care about a lot of what is shown in KYT. Sticky digits are a helpful 'requirement' to be able to do that.

Specifically, if I have left something on a train, then if Know Your Train has the number of the unit, I might be able to track it down without having to use Lost Property.

If you have any specific queries, feel free to post them in the 'Urgent TOPS Requests' thread:

And 756s and 807s! But I can appreciate that the ticket site was being concentrated on.

Most noticeable to me is that the 756s and 807s don't have the illustrations, even though the respectively related 231s and 805s do.

If @Tom or anyone else from the team could let us know what the situation is with this, it would be much appreciated :)

Why is there such a desperate need to? Surely the number is what matters!

Perhaps they're looking at a fix that stops one of the end cars on the 231 being the wrong way round half the time, before implementing any others? Anyway, let's be patient, it's surely not a big deal.

The 756s and 807s have gone a long time still not having the illustrations compared to the 231s and 805s, so I'm just wondering what the reason is for that and when we might expect them to appear, is all. Also, @nctd2306 mentioned that the 458/4s and 720/6s don't have them.

I'm not sure if the delay is due to the issue shown by @chrisjo as I've seen it happen with other classes as well.

While we appreciate Realtime Trains and its Know Your Train feature very much, and there are more important things in life and the world, I think some sort of response about this situation would be appreciated (whenever is convenient).

If you go back two pages, you'll see that there has already been a post about this.

To be quite honest surely it is up to the team behind the site when they update it - I don't think that you're entitled to an explanation. We should all be grateful that the site exists.

Does 'RealTimeTrains' sometimes return spurious results for intermediate station(s) when a train that was originally meant to call there, has run, but has been re-routed via an alternative route?

There's quite a large update to RTT on the way in the next few days that fixes some of the issues we've had around deployments which should hopefully resolve some of the missing graphics issues mentioned above. Can't promise all of them, but we'll be able to increase our release cadence again.
I did read the post by @Tom which I have quoted here - I assume @berneyarms this is the one you're referring to?

I have stated several times in this thread that I appreciate Realtime Trains (and within it, Know Your Train) very much.

You're right though, I should give it a rest for a bit. All in good time and all that :)

I've just noticed RealTimeTrains have added a ticketing site. I like the interface! It has split ticketing, which at a quick glance seems to equal Trainsplit.

I guess this is (part of) the promised "large update":
