Can we get an updated list of the 456s?

The 455s not going this week is nothing to do with strikes, heat, plagues of locusts etc., but is due to the translator vans requiring maintenance.Probably taking advantage of reduced deliveries by rail due to heat / strikes causing cancellations of runs.

Sorry, the GTR 455s, in the context of capacity at Newport for other stuff.Which 455's this week?
NO 455's this week, the translator vehicles are having work done5719 has had its wheel change, been on the lathe, had a return to service exam. Just needs coach and bogie heights adjusting post lathe and a test run, it should be back in business soon.
Which 455's this week?
Post 1086 already said that? SWR moves haven't used translators on 455/456 so far. They do on 458, but a trial is pending to couple directly with a ROG 37.NO 455's this week, the translator vehicles are having work done
Yes, the original post was corrected in 1086 (my reply arrived a little late) to clarify GTR 455. As far as SWR I think all have been dispatched from their resting places by road transport. There have been a few pictures of 456 units on low loadersPost 1086 already said that? SWR moves haven't used translators on 455/456 so far. Has 456008 been confirmed as having made its final journey?456008 by the looks of it. Looks like some redundant ex-Midland Metro T69 trams joined it for the run to Newport
Bit premature with the 319s I would of thoughtPicture sent to me by a friend of Newport Docks today I believe, not a pretty sight. Several 456s and what looks like ex LNWR 319 carriages in their final moments, with 2 Southern 455s awaiting their date with destruction.
Guessing this is a pair of 455’s?STP 29/07 5Q76 1122 Wimbledon - Newport Docks

Already happened as of 18th July, 707s staying longer allowing a cascade of 450s back out to strengthen some of the outer area - wouldn't expect to see anything else lengthened for a while nowI've noticed a lot less 450s on the new line the past couple of weeks, is the plan to use these 450s to bolster the mainline back up? We've still got an awful lot of 5 cars on the Portsmouth Direct...
Thanks, sadly we haven't seen much strengthening on the PDL!Already happened as of 18th July, 707s staying longer allowing a cascade of 450s back out to strengthen some of the outer area - wouldn't expect to see anything else lengthened for a while now
seems to be most of the basing/altons which have been extended to 12 cars again, even though these seem lightly loaded most of the timeThanks, sadly we haven't seen much strengthening on the PDL!
So are they not leaving in August as expected now?Already happened as of 18th July, 707s staying longer allowing a cascade of 450s back out to strengthen some of the outer area - wouldn't expect to see anything else lengthened for a while now
Quite a large amount was focussed on the PDL, not quite as many diagrams as Basings and Altons but not far off - of course fewer trains because of the longer journeysseems to be most of the basing/altons which have been extended to 12 cars again, even though these seem lightly loaded most of the time
Nope, staying indefinitely nowSo are they not leaving in August as expected now?
Nope, staying indefinitely now
Until the 701s are fully in service - acknowledging that that could be yonks awayNope, staying indefinitely now

But when all ninety 701s are in service, they'll be needed even less at SWR. I meant when all 701s are in service, not when the first ones enter service. Not necessarily, the sub-hire from South Eastern will continue UFN until the DfT has a change of tune. What we do know is they aren’t needed there for the foreseeable.
