Well high peak is the operator for transpeak, could possible see an eVoRa on transpeak soon enough, some are due this year…They are perfect for hills, so would be great for the Sixes (and transpeak!).

They will be in the original darker livery. With the passing mention of 101 (no pun intended), is there any reason that the new Enviros for the Mickleover route are going back to the burgundy colour it had when Volvos were running up and down it?
If only they could enter a PIN.Fares have gone up today. People are struggling to buy some tickets due to contactless limit.
744 is in service on Skylink Express now so I guess 662 is surplus662 is apparently tracking on the Calverton today.
Why would they get damaged?Villagers appear to be running late. I'm told drivers don't want to damage them. New Villager Enviro 200MMCs 301 and 302 are tracking as each other.
Probably just a livery refresh to keep things feeling new. This might be a silly question to ask, but how come on the Skylink Express route do the Solars have a dark blue rear and the Eclipse Urbans a cyan? Picture for reference: https://flic.kr/p/2q1cqgi
A brand refresh has been done in a similar way that the new E200mmcs for the villager, Ilkeston Flyer and Mickleover have been given an updated colour scheme and branding. This might be a silly question to ask, but how come on the Skylink Express route do the Solars have a dark blue rear and the Eclipse Urbans a cyan? Why does any bus get damaged. One only has to look down the side of many buses to see the dents, scuffs, marks. Only need another road user to do something silly...Why would they get damaged?
Was on Arriva earlier and we stopped to let a bus turn. A car obviously thought we stopped to let someone off and drove around the side of us nearly hitting the bus turning in front. Also not to mention potholes and stuff would also damage the bus depending how deep they are (especially the ones in the bus station). Why does any bus get damaged. I did notice the potholes in Derby bus station today. Getting bigger. Maybe they will have to close the bus station for a year to repair them. Wonder if the potholes are there to make traffic drive slower. Was on Arriva earlier and we stopped to let a bus turn. Yeah, the ones in Victoria bus station are getting quite big too. No wonder when a few coaches drive over and park on the bays for most of the day. Doubt they will close the derby bus station fully, probably just close it a bay at a time, they have bay 2 and bay 10 not in use as well as the coach bays too if needs be. Also look back a few weeks ago when there was the bus fire, all the busses on corporation street when the station was closed. It wasn't well planned, but for the time they had to sort something, it worked well. Have a bit longer to plan and they could probably sort a better solution for if they did close the bus station.I did notice the potholes in Derby bus station today. Getting bigger. Talking of fires and Derby bus station. It would seem that the toilets have been set on fire TWICE in recent weeks. They had only just reopened when it happened again. Maybe someone who does like paying 50p.Yeah, the ones in Victoria bus station are getting quite big too. No wonder when a few coaches drive over and park on the bays for most of the day. Now that...doesn't surprise me one bit. Getting slightly off topic once again talking about toilets thoughTalking of fires and Derby bus station. We were taking it gently for onceVillagers appear to be running late. I'm told drivers don't want to damage them. New Villager Enviro 200MMCs 301 and 302 are tracking as each other.
Having driven many times through Hatton, I was always surprised when there were NO traffic lights.. Nope ADLs will never beat Volvos. We were taking it gently for onceBut a surpise set of temp 3 way light appeared in Hatton for a few hours so but were gone by just after 2 so that did cause a small delay
But drove 303 and 305 today and i will say the drivers seat is confortable and very smooth to drive overall pretty good but they don't beat the volvos they replaced
Eh? I thought it was £2 till December?Fares have gone up today. People are struggling to buy some tickets due to contactless limit.
Well, the single fare before midnight is still £2. But take the normal fares. Allestree would go from £2.90 to £3.10. Who knows, maybe even more in 2025. Wonder if those fare increases affect the level of remuneration from the Government on the £2 fare (difference between that £2 and the normal fare?) Zigzags , weekly monthly, yearly caps all gone up. Night fares too. But it is interesting about the effect with contactless bank cards. What actually is the contactless limit, as not all businesses have it at £100.Eh? I thought it was £2 till December?
It was red arrow around 7 am so not only is it more expensive fare for red arrow but also expensive fare since its before 9 am. Also as it's Monday and the first of the month i'm assuming it was either a weekly or monthly, I wasn't properly listening to what ticket was asked for though. The driver said it wasn't the first one to hit the contactless cap either.Eh? I thought it was £2 till December?
A Red Arrow around 07.00 actually ran? Only joking..One usually does. 73 should be helping out soon, although it's MOT expires 6th July. I guess they charge more before 09.00 to catch people going to work and make more money, pretty much like the trains. You then offer a lower fare to attract business when buses are quieter. It was red arrow around 7 am so not only is it more expensive fare for red arrow but also expensive fare since its before 9 am. Anyone know why Trentbarton still charge extra for before 9am services (and are pretty much the only operator now to do so)? I get if your getting a ticket and going to use it between trentbarton and kinchbus since your using more than one operator.
Well, it was the 7.45 one with its first trip being 5 am so they have to have that one out. Would of been the 7.35 for once but temporary traffic lights at Derwent street delayed us just slightly so I just missed it. Makes sense they charge more, smart business wise, but might influence someone to get on a competitor (if there's the option to) on the earlier hours as not to be charged as much. Depends where someones travelling to though i guess. Will be nice to have 73 on the route helping, hopefully it doesn't struggle at peak times as much with demand. Looks like the Red Arrow had Spare 715/716 Volvos on today Spare Optare Versa 847 also helped after it came off the Mickleover route, which got the delights of Optare Solo 480 instead.Well, it was the 7.45 one with its first trip being 5 am so they have to have that one out. Yeah, I somehow managed to get on both volvos. Not complaining though since who knows where they might be in the coming weeks especially with what will replace them.Looks like the Red Arrow had Spare 715/716 Volvos on today Spare Optare Versa 847 also helped after it came off the Mickleover route, which got the delights of Optare Solo 480 instead.
Still no vehicle order though right? It's also stated that a full zero emission fleet inclhding hydrogen is "a few years off" however Loughborough's conversion to electric is making progress
People will be saying it has to be 462, cos a tracker says so. But a picture of 471 out trumps trackers.471 on the Comet, tracking as 462. Good to see you again @Davidsb3
As in JB who joined in January 2023? Maybe he has solved all the issues and wants a new challenge.Internal sources state that Welgllade's engineering director is leaving the group.
