The BWC Charter - Wednesday 29th March 2023 to Friday 31st March 2023
We are delighted to announce a charity railtour raising funds for Alzheimer's Society, along the Highland Main Line and via Strathcarron to scenic Kyle of Lochalsh.
This charter, operated by GB Railfreight on behalf of GBRf Charity Railtours, will feature SRPS Diesel Group
Class 37 37403 and
Mark One coaching stock. All accommodation will be First Class and spaces are limited. It is expected, subject to pathing and operational requirements, to feature a number of sought after loops as well as Rose Street curve in both directions and the little used diversionary route between Winchburgh Jn and Dalmeny Jn.
With thanks to the team at SRPS, a Buffet Car will serve a wide range of hot and cold drinks, snacks and light refreshments. A number of real ales will also be available.
There will be a charity raffle, with all proceeds donated to Alzheimer's Society - the new charity partner of GBRf.
