There is a tweet circulating which contains a photo of HCT (formerly Hackney Community Transport) letter advising staff that HCT are selling their red London bus business to Stagecoach London

I wonder if they will just take over (novate) the buses and routes and not take the garages, especially as they recently inherited the large Lea Interchange from the Tower Transit takeover.Another minor operator in London giving up, there isn't a great deal of tender competition now between operators
Stagecoach adding Tower Transit and HCT to its existing East London operations, they are now very strong in that regionI wonder if they will just take over (novate) the buses and routes and not take the garages, especially as they recently inherited the large Lea Interchange from the Tower Transit takeover.
There are already parts of London where there is negligible competition in tenders. Not that TfL seems to be awarding any (I think last bus award was over 4 months ago)
With the modern Lea Interchange site (VOSA O-Licence for 250 - PVR= 141, from Tower Transit & ample space at the very large West Ham depot (VOSA O-Licence for 234 - current PVR =@113), a 'shuffle-round' seems likely. Ash Grove is owned by TFL and shared with Arriva. I would think HCT's Walthamstow depot is unlikely to survive.I wonder if they will just take over (novate) the buses and routes and not take the garages, especially as they recently inherited the large Lea Interchange from the Tower Transit takeover.

Its spreading - refurb LT's included. See here:Regarding the new "RATP Dev Transit London" fleetname
Is this being applied just to ex-Tower Transit buses in West London, or also to London United and London Sovereign buses?
Off topic, but good to see the VHRs (the Wrightbus SRM) are now finally fitted with opening windows!![]()
Is this a standard single deck bus,new front, new back, fancy wheel covers and diesel bits replaced by electric?GoAhead London have shared some images of its new Irizar ie tram buses for route 358 that are under construction

With TfL agreeing funding with the Government earlier this week, a number of overdue bus tender awards have been released
Some routes in same tranches E2, E8 (Ealing area) and 57, 85, 216 (Kingston area) were not announced
It seems more 'pass the parcel' these days. Time to rethink the whole foundation again? Not many changed hands!
Interesting interpretation of unanimousArriva London North drivers are to strike on the 4th October from 00:01
(Image shows result of ballot. Summary of results: 122 in favour of pay offer; 1111 against; 2 spoiled)
That was my first thought. A massive majority, but clearly not unanimous.Interesting interpretation of unanimous
Do companies in London get penalised from TFL if they strike, as does this go against breach of contract?
There was a route N189 which was very similar to the 189 (which ran on to Brent Cross Shopping Centre), but it last ran in 2004.One night I saw a bus on route N189 turning up in service in Cricklewood. I can't find any information about this route. Is it the same as 189?

It was recently (in last month) and with traditional blinds. Was this recently? Did the bus have electronic or linen destination blinds? If the latter, it must have been a very old blind set.
Sorry didn't read your post properly, where is stop E in Victoria Station?
Well, that is groundbreaking! The 185 and the 58 tram before it have always started service in Vauxhall Bridge Road. I certainly don't remember it, but as a toddler I accompanied my grandfather on a tram from Victoria to the Oval just before conversion: apparently I insisted on the tram even though various 36 route buses left before us! I agree the move makes sense, the Oval and station-free Camberwell need adjoining stops at the very least. So, a quick trip to Victoria earlier and the 185 is indeed now starting at stop E in terminus Place. Makes sense I suppose as it gives a common stop nearer to the station for buses heading south to Vauxhall. The other route I couldn't remember that terminates in Terminus Place is the 13.
