XC Seat selector annoyance here; I can't find the damn thing. I get to the "Choose seats" screen when trying to make a booking but all it does is ask me if I want a power socket and a window view, where is the option to get a full seat map to choose from?

My point is that I would think unstaffed stations generally speaking will have fewer departures than staffed ones. If it is relatively easy to implement for TOCs with few departures perhaps it is also be relatively easy to implement for unstaffed stations with few departures.

How many departures a week do most unstaffed, un-machined, stations have in comparison? Since you can just buy walk-up tickets on the train, print-at-home tickets for only ADVANCE tickets would be a nice idea.
