I booked my tickets yesterday a return to Swindon from Paddington and a Heart of Wessex day ranger altogether come to £18.50. Cheaper than £23 return only Paddington to Weymouth via Bristol. Is this train expected to be completely packed, and something no one has seemed to mention what if the staff allow on no more people then alot will be disappointed ???

They should give priority to fare paying passengers, however I can't see it coming to that.

Just make sure u get to bristol with plenty of time.

I travelling on the 08:00 from Cardiff to Bristol TM which should get to Bristol around 08:52 so i should have a good 15 minutes spare.

I'm tracelling on the 07.00 from Paddington what arrives at Bristol TM at 08.39 which leaves me more than enough time to spare.

Just to confirm 37670 is well past Cheltenham, I saw it through Pirton (near Worcester) around 1hr and 1/2 ago.

It's cheaper to split at Didcot.

I'd also buy on the day otherwise if the 37 does not produce you have to pay £10 for each ticket to be refunded unless you are happy to stand on a wedged class 67.

Last time I did PAD-BRI I was about an hour late! In your case you can be about an hour late and still make it at Bath so it should be ok.

charter for the return run northbound, hopefully with the 37 on the front.

37 should be leading, worth noting the charter was planned to be 37+33 then was changed to 37+37 and now has gone back to 37+33, cant say what will be leading untill it pulls back into Marylebone but I would say its the 37

Its confirmed 37s, both should be at Bristol, 401 definitely is and 670s very near.

How good is Weymouth station for getting photos anyway?

I suspect that the staff have at Bristol TM have been warned to expect a large influnce of railway enthusiasts
