All alphabetical by the looks of it although SO19MVX is incorrectly showing as 3409 on bustimes when it’s intact 3404 which would make it in order. Looks like someone has added the wrong reg. There is a photo of said vehicle on Twitter but can’t find the link now.

Looks like the Citaros follow on from Go North West with 33017 now 6249, again looks like they are in alphabetical order.

Vantage B5s look like 3021–45

Loan L5498 NK69FBN is running on the 524 today still with Go North East branding - looks like it’s escaped the sticker up last night.

The black rectangle with the fleet number looks very out of place.

Fleet Numbers and registrarions for the new Enviro 200 MMCs - All of the below has been taken from Bus Lists on the Web (buslistsontheweb.co.uk), and copy pasted from the spreadsheet linked. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-j5qslMv85SsJXZdYZGBYtWhKqzPcB7DoVuGZej1KsM/edit
(The fleet code boxes that are blank are ones which have not had fleet numbers confirmed yet)

The yellow streetdecks in your photo have them!
Was simply the fastest way to cover over the many different sizes and length of fleetnumbers. Remember, well over a hundred buses had to be revinyled and renumbered in essentially a few hours.

So, the yellow Streetdecks haven't been painted, they were vinyled?

Go North West did the same. They put stickers over the logo and company name when they took over Queens Road from First Manchester before they were sent away for repaint. It didn’t take them long to get all the buses painted as well.
Folk always want things to happen straight away, gets really annoying that.

Assuming that is in reference to my post, I was pointing out that the large black rectangle with the fleet number on a yellow bus looks like an after thought.

Yes, as I wrote, trying to renumber over 100 buses and badge all non yellow buses into Bee Network branding takes a heck of a lot of time on its own, never mind having to stand and carefully peel off the old numbers etc before then applying the new ones individually... So yes, it may look like an "after thought" but for a speed and practicality solution, it wins hands down... They'll also probably stop on a fair while on the yellows as they don't prevent the bus from running in service.

The things you do to appease folk...

Haha doing a grand job there!
Do you know yet when repaints will start again? Are you planning to still do them in house?

Thanks!

Yeah, they'll still be done in house but there are bigger issues at present to sort... For now, we've been stickering up prepainted B9TLs and catching up with buses that keep dodging renumbering etc

Fab. Those B9s do look good and certainly don’t look their age.

Locally-built buses for local people :)

First Manchester in partnership with Transport for Greater Manchester has ordered 17 Mellor Strata Plus coachbuilt minibuses that are mounted on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis cowl. They are for use on two local service contracts in Rochdale that were awarded as part of the second tranche of bus franchising in Greater Manchester.

The purchase represents an investment of over £2.3 million and the vehicles will be built by Mellor at its Rochdale plant. They will include audio visual next stop technology, USB charging points, and wi-fi.

First Manchester will take up the Rochdale franchises from March 2024. They will occupy around 40 buses in total. Speaking about the decision to purchase the Mellor Strata Plus, Director Mike Watson says: “We are delighted to announce this order with Mellor and look forward to seeing the first vehicles coming off the production line.

That's taken outside the ADL factory in Camelon, near Falkirk.
Also, the photographer is known as a delivery Driver.
I believe that it was one of three vehicles delivered from Falkirk to Bryn (Wigan) yesterday (Saturday), namely 4111, 4112 and 4113.

There seems to a few vehicles at Go North West that haven’t tracked since the changes although I’m pretty sure some are out in service. Ones I can see not tracking are below. Any updates would be welcome.

B9TLs 3276/7
Streetdecks 3405/8/47/63/8/9 (reported 3468 is awaiting a new engine)
E200s 4030/2
Solo 4201
B7 6179
Citaros 6233/4/6/9/40/1/2/7/8/50/1/2/3

Go North West's spare ticket machine (reporting with code 01TE5T) seems to be reporting from 3 busses at the same time.
That probably accounts for at least 3 of them.

3277 was in service yesterday on the 20/520 tracking as L254, which was also tracking as itself

Evening all,

A couple of updates from Bolton for you.

Two more refurbished former London E200s arrived this week in the shape of

YX61 FZS 4026
YX61 FZW 4029

Also, former First Manchester Vantage B5LH 39246 has now joined its sisters after a spell being worked on by Volvo. All First and Vantage branding has been removed and Bee Network logos applied in the interim.

If I'm correct, there should only be one left to arrive at Bolton and that will be following accident repairs.

Ex-British Blue Tours of Birkenhead Y7THG doesn't seem to have entered service yet either.
Could that be because it is dual doored?

There was somewhat of a mass panic buying spree by Go Ahead fearing it would take a heck of a long time to straighten out the former Rotala stock, however, they've gotten to grips with it far quicker than expected (largely due to having more staff than expected) so some of the acquired buses will be surplus and cascaded through other GoAhead companies rather than being used in the North West, this bus could possibly be one of those, as I've yet to hear it mentioned, let alone see it on any list but time will tell.
