Not yet, no.
I'll second that - driving has always been my long-term goal but if I'd stayed with conducting I'd've been content. It's an excellent job.

You say that but I had my medical on the 19th of Oct and started training on the 6th of November.

Yeah, I start my course in January. Not sure if I'll be training in Leeds or Manchester yet though.

I’ve got a provisional start date for 15.1.24 providing my medical was ok. I had my medical 12 days ago and just waiting to hear back.

I’ve just received a provisional offer for a Feb driver course pending my medical so looks like things are moving

That's the same day I'm starting my driving course so I imagine there is going to be a corporate induction for us all.
A mate of mine is going to be on the conductor course with you as well.

How long did it take between filling out the Form D - Life Changing Events Declaration and getting your offer?
It took about 2 weeks to here back from the medical so I'm sure you won't have to wait much longer.

I'm waiting to hear back from the medical as well. To those who have heard, do they send you a final offer after your medical pass ? or do they just inform you of passing the medical, and wait untill they have got references etc? Waiting to inform work I'm leaving but obviously want the contract signed first.
