Is this trains that are in Network Rail livery or can it be trains that are run on behalf of Network Rail...ie engineering trains?

Harsh? I don't really see that. While I wouldn't want to discourage people, there is no point sugar coating things. Your not going to learn if you don't know whats wrong in the first place.

Ive just uploaded a picture without issue.

Number 11 for me. Its the only one with some real colour to it.

I think you will probably find there is no exact definition. As usual its down to interpretation but I'd say think outside the box. Unusual angles, reflections, abstract etc etc.

The only thing I will say is you are probably doing yourself a bit of a dis service by relying on a screen grab from video. It would have to be something pretty special to compete with even the most basic of still shots.

A caption should have no bearing on the quality of photo/picture. Its photo of the week, not caption of the week.

Not necessarily. For example you could have been out spotting in general when a charter comes by that you were not previously aware of. Obviously a bit of honesty applies here but if you genuinely feel it was a chance/unintended/spur of the moment shot (call it what you will) then stick it up.
