Chelsea nick a point at Anfield despite Anthony Taylor's best efforts.
Next you'll be saying it was neither a penalty or red card.....

In the Hyde United match today, the visitors were reduced to 10 men after half an hour following a red card, but despite this handicap, very nearly levelled the game in the closing stages, with the home goalkeeper having to make a smart penalty save to ensure the win.Pitching-in Northern Premier League...Premier Division
Hyde United 2 ... FC United of Manchester 1
In this derby match. Hyde scored twice early in the first half, with FC United pulling a goal back in the second half.
A four-figure attendance as usual for this derby match.... 1,194.
Interesting stat (not that it helps you). Of the seven teams without a win this season, six are former Football League teams (yes, I know that some have been reincarnated). 'Previous results are no guarantee of future performance'.York 1-2 Brackley
Oh dear.. after an excellent pre-season and a new stadium to play in, expectations were very high coming into this season. 3 games in, 3 losses and bottom of the National League North. The worst full time professional team in the country and an incompetent board means this season looks like it will be another drag. When we got relegated down here in 2017, we definitely still didn't expect to be down here and in all honesty, we could go even lower.
Well, at least Brymbo scored one!Bala Town 17 ... Brymbo 1
Well, at least Brymbo scored one!
Another result from today was Darlington 1... Bradford 2. Hopefully @Cowley won't need to step in to prevent a virtual fight breaking out in this thread!

Which Bradford?
There is Park Avenue and City.
Also, when presenters or commentators refer to Bradford City as Bradford, not realising that Bradford also has another football team called Bradford Park Avenue.
There's Bradford and Bradford City, hence the former having the "Park Avenue" bit in parentheses usually.Which Bradford?

@DarloRich will be most unhappy with that result, whatever Bradford team turned up to play them.Another result from today was Darlington 1... Bradford 2. Hopefully @Cowley won't need to step in to prevent a virtual fight breaking out in this thread!
FA Cup: Mossley 4 ... Newton Aycliffe 15 (rather closer, but to score 4 and be thrashed). The Welsh Cup has already recorded some remarkable scores this season, with some winning teams scoring double figures in the early qualifying round matches, but today, there really was an eye-catching score.....
Bala Town 17 ... Brymbo 1
This was actually a 1-0 home win for Mossley. Suspect that someone at Seel Park has texted the result in incorrectly, and that 415 was the gate figure today.FA Cup: Mossley 4 ... Newton Aycliffe 15 (rather closer, but to score 4 and be thrashed).
Someone has corrected it on the BBC website now. I just hope no-one from Newton Aycliffe has read my post and ordered 'drinks all round'.This was actually a 1-0 home win for Mossley. Suspect that someone at Seel Park has texted the result in incorrectly, and that 415 was the gate figure today.
Looks like I might have to.
From your post in the thread about things you’d like to ban @adrock1976 …

Seeing as we play in national league north it wont be cityWhich Bradford?

I wonder if @DarloRich would agree with the Ronaldo part of your posting above, as he made some "very definite" postings views about him a few years ago on this thread. This is shaping out to be one of the best Premier League seasons ever. And Ronaldo, he and Messi truly are the greatest players ever. They just keep on going, Ronaldo was the best player in the world when he left United, and is still arguably the best player in the world 12 years later now.

The way that you have entered the posting above gives the impression that the British team had a home match, but played it abroad for some strange reason, especially as a home match played in England would normally draw an attendance of over 70,000.Manchester United 1- 2 Young Boys at Wankdorf Stadium. A tactical disaster class from the manager I think.
Reckon it should have been Young Boys 2 Old Boy 1.The way that you have entered the posting above gives the impression that the British team had a home match, but played it abroad for some strange reason...
It goes to show that Darlington, after a slow start to the season, finally recognised your undoubted skills. What position did you play in and did you play the full 90 minutes...well football is a strange game: Brackley Town 1 v Darlington 3
Brackley flying start to the season derailed by improving Darlo! Brackley were top, we were bottom with 1 point form 4 games. Madness. We still couldn't defend balls into the box mind!
This was my first game of football since 7th Match 2020
Home win wasn't unexpected last night, but apparently the regular Witton goalkeeper was injured during the pre-match warm up and so was unable to take part in the game. Very definitely not the best of evenings for his understudy! There was a rather dramatic scoreline in the same league last night... Matlock Town 9 ... Witton Albion 0.
