Yes your right, 450026 is the next one. Was supposed to be due in on to 11th but must be ahead of schedule.U.450039 is off repaint at Bournemouth Depot and back in service today on Poole to Winchester shuttles.
Looks like U.450026 could be the replacement as its the only unallocated 450 unit in Bournemouth Depot, to be confirmed?
Thanks for the latest update.Yes your right, 450026 is the next one. Was supposed to be due in on to 11th but must be ahead of schedule.

Note: (* = Currently being done)
444040 and 450111 have had vinyl wrap (not been painted)
Hopefully once the 444s are done, it will free up space for the 450s?Thanks for the latest update.
So, not far off 50% for the 444 fleet, but still only scratching the surface with the 450s.
I wonder where it would all be if it weren't for Covid.
Thanks for that @444045. Haven't received any updates but that makes perfect sense.444032 has been repainted and will be hauled back to NT by 450112 on 5Z53 tonight as it has outstanding defects that require
it to be assisted.
444026 has come down from NT on 5Z52 with 450112, guess that will be the next paint unit.
Update on next paint job, looks like its 444016 which I seem to remember @Dan15812 mentioned when 444032 took its place.
450026 is being released from Bournemouth this morning and as you say is on the Lymington branch today.Update......
450026 has finished its repaint and is back in traffic today on the Lymington branch shuttles.
450064 which has been on Lymington shuttles looks to be the next for a repaint ?
450124 is shown on RTT as leading unit on 1T18 0541 Ports Hbr to Waterloo this morning, which ends at Bournemouth Depot tonight.450026 is being released from Bournemouth this morning and as you say is on the Lymington branch today.
As far as I'm aware there are no 450s stopped for painting at Bournemouth.
450124 is spare on depot but is not stopped.
450064 could well be the next one for painting. I'm just going on info I've been given.
Hopefully should become clearer soon!
Updated - 27/01/21450018 going to Bournemouth depot tonight for repaint.
Yes SWR are still committed to the refurbishment of the diesels.Any update on the diesels or will they remain in a mess of liveries? Has the first class refurbishment stalled?
Cheers for that, they often are a few days earlier than planned. As per @Dan15812 post above, confirmation as below :
450018 released off repaint today and will be working on the Lymington Branch.
450027 arriving tonight into Bournemouth Depot on 5B69 23+21 ex Bournemouth.
Yeah, very rare indeed!Just spotted that both 027's are on repaint at the moment, 444 + 450.
What's the chances of that happening I wonder.
All of the twenty-two original 159/0s have SWR livery, although some (I think 003 and 007) have the stripy vinyl whereas others have paint. The eight 159/1s are still in a modified version of SWT livery. 159102/103 have a different variant to the other six.How many more of SWR's 158/159's need refurbishing and repaiting? I occasionaly see the old SWT livery, but most are in the SWR one. In Exeter they seems to be mostly SWR but there are a few in SWT .
I would expect not, but as they were only very recently touched up, it’s probably their priority to redo the other trains first.will the /1s be kept in swt colours, which in 2 years, will be the only subclass untouched???
Why is this. Haven’t they being doing these refits for a long while now? Surely they would have got round to it by now.I would expect not, but as they were only very recently touched up, it’s probably their priority to redo the other trains first.
The 159s that have been “refurbished” however, are not complete. I believe they are to get plug sockets, and the first class seats have not yet been attended to.

If you look at the franchise agreement there is a lot to be done. Its actually the same specification as the (444/450's) with fist class becoming relocated and installation of wireless charging.I would expect not, but as they were only very recently touched up, it’s probably their priority to redo the other trains first.

They weren’t ever planning to start the 158/159 interior work until 2020, for completion Dec 2020, according to the franchise agreement, and that was before COVID wrecked the plans. Why is this. Haven’t they being doing these refits for a long while now? Surely they would have got round to it by now.
Is there any indication of what the new seating could be?If you look at the franchise agreement there is a lot to be done. Its actually the same specification as the (444/450's) with fist class becoming relocated and installation of wireless charging.
The difference is, new seating in standard to make extra space, also USB ports and with that LED lighting.
One thing that I'm sure is overdue is the fitment of new PIS screens to the Desiros. They weren’t ever planning to start the 158/159 interior work until 2020, for completion Dec 2020, according to the franchise agreement, and that was before COVID wrecked the plans.
