11/9:
484005 [Ryde Pier Head -> Shanklin -> Ryde Pier Head]

Just 001 left to hunt down, which I suspect might be another Sunday trip to the Island if RTT shows it out on a Saturday/Sunday and I've got nothing else planned

A few hours with a London zones 1-6 Travelcard prior to an evening out.
On the return, I let a few trains go at Clapham Junction, hoping for a "mileage required" 377 and was rewarded with my last 377/1 on a Hastings service.

Thanks.
Last /6 on Saturday too. Like waiting for buses, then two at once.
Two /3s and one /7 to go. Shame Southern aren't on RTT.
Perhaps I should spend more time south of the river.
They're not on RTT, but unlike the awful teams at EMR and Greater Anglia, they have a fabulous Twitter team. There's nothing worse than enthusiasts clogging up their time with lots of unnecessary tweets, but a single request for the whereabouts of one or two 377s during a non-busy time will almost always be answered :)

Not the worst idea there, but it's going to be like finding a needle in a haystack! I have way too many 377s to find, but I just can't be bothered, quite honestly. One day I will get my red pen out and have a big clear-out in London, winter is coming so I'll not want to be out pedalling so much soon. Mind you, by then I'll probably be planning something else!

It might be worth putting in a request on the TOPS request thread to see if those 377s are floating around when you are in London next.

Thanks for your suggestions.
I've also got a friend at a TOC who can help on weekdays.
I'm often side-tracked by old and new units north of the river, though the old stuff (317, 321 etc) is dwindling now.

After missing out on all the loco haulage fun on the WCML last weekend due to being in Jersey (playing with various buses):

24/9:
484001 (Ryde Esplanade - Shanklin -> Brading)
Class cleared :D

Also Hovercraft: Solent Flyer

(Was originally going to head towards London but when I saw this unit on the 'short' services I changed my mind, going via the hovercraft to make a change from the ferry, although I won't be doing that again as it's a lot more hassle compared to the easy interchange from train to ferry at Harbour)

30th September:

A day at the Severn Valley Railway saw some red pen action. Some of it almost too embarrassing to admit to needing:

D1015
40106
50049

Plenty of EE and Maybach thrash from the above and the other locos that were in action.
